Progress Prevails In Time

I was looking back at when I first started taking photos about 2 years ago and it made me really see how practice does make perfect. When I first started taking pictures I was really confident in my work. Sometimes I wonder if confidence is a positive or a negative. I think life is all about balance. It's being ok and satisfied with what you have created but seeing how you could make that photo or art piece better. I've learned its crucial to see the potential in yourself. Looking back at my photos and seeing how I have grown as an artist and it really makes me happy for the future. I hope everyday I improve more and more creatively.

I've taken upon myself as a challenge to start taking pictures of strangers. Yes, I know, strange. I think taking pictures of people I don't know will help me to see the best in people and really pick out one's best feature and trying to have a vision on the spot. I'm trying to mix Improvisation & Photography together. Could think be the start of something really eye-opening and beneficial? I really hope so.

Here are two strangers that I have recently taken pictures of:

Emily Soto

I really have figured out what I want to do in life and that is be a fashion/portraiture photographer. There is nothing that makes me happier than snapping pictures of people in their most glamorous moments. I just wanted to go ahead and show one of my favorite photographers, Emily Soto. I look up to Emily so much for inspiration and she is exactly what I want to be in life-successful.

Her pictures are pure magic, and they glisten within subject she takes. I hope to one day achieve her art of composition.
